HOSPITAL TO HOSPITAL STERILE INSTRUMENTS TRANSPORTATION
Sterile Instrument Transport
Already Sterilized. Handled with Expertise.
Planned Service
TrayLink Courier is preparing to provide sterile surgical instrument delivery between hospitals within the same healthcare system and from off-site processing facilities.
Our founder brings a year and a half of hands-on experience receiving sterile surgical trays from an off-site processing company. During that time, the department successfully completed a Joint Commission survey.
This experience shapes our approach to developing transport procedures that protect sterile packaging through secure containment, careful loading, package integrity checks, and documented handoffs—all coordinated with each facility’s transport and receiving requirements.

Verify and Document Delivery
Confirm the trays, destination, receiving contact, and transport conditions required by the participating facilities and applicable manufacturer instructions.
Check external sterile packaging for visible damage or moisture without opening it. Place accepted trays into a dedicated temperature- and humidity-controlled transport cart.
Keep trays secured inside the cart throughout the journey. Monitor and record temperature and humidity against established transport limits, while protecting packages from movement, crushing, and moisture.
Transfer the cart to designated staff at the receiving hospital. Review package condition and environmental records, document receipt, and report any damage or readings outside established limits for facility evaluation before use.
Establish recurring hospital route contracts
Secure reliable transport schedules tailored to your regional hospital network and ambulatory surgical center board requirements.
